Training Aspirations has developed a Proof of STMS Current Competence which includes an individual assessment of competence. This event includes a 1.5 hour session (knowledge load up covering the new credentials framework, NZGTTM and Risk assessment) and an in the field assessment including setting up, maintaining and removing TTM for a common site (e.g stop/go or lane diversion).

As part of the practising assessment process for a new STMS, they have to install, maintain and remove 2 sites which a TTM Mentor verifies as having been completed to standard.
