Workshops and Practising Assessments

This workshop provides base knowledge for working on category B roads (rural roads, one lane each way, 70km/h or more). It is normally completed sometime after a Cat A NP workshop has been completed.

This is the starting point for people joining the TTM industry. It includes a briefing, practice in a protected area and assessment on a live roading network.

This workshop covers all of the knowledge needed for the TMO to be able to install, maintain and remove TTM out of the lane, mind TTM in the lane and complete inspection activities.

This is a 2-day knowledge workshop which provides base knowledge for the STMS category A, B or C learning blocks and the STMS Mobile learning block. The STMS Universal workshop can be run in conjunction with a category A, B or C workshop or an STMS Mobile workshop

This provides the base knowledge for working on category A roads (urban roads, 60km/h or less).

This provides the base knowledge for undertaking mobile operations on either category A and B road environments or the shoulder of category C road environments.

The training is designed to develop skills on how to facilitate learning, assess and verify that the trainee has met the standard for the activity and to give feedback in a positive training approach.

This provides the base knowledge for completing inspection activities in category A and B road environments and on the shoulder of category C road environments.

This is a Training Aspirations' specialist workshop focusing on the full audit SCR (Site Condition Rating) form. There is NO Waka Kotahi warrant for this training.

This workshop provides base knowledge for working on category C roads (multi-lane roads 70km/h or more).

Fee for assessment $1,050 plus $700 for hire of TTM vehicle, labour and equipment - total of $1,750.00. Participants have to complete 7 tasks (verified sites and assessment) in 1 day.

Fee for assessment $1000 plus $1,000 for hire of TTM vehicles and equipment - total of $2000.00. This is the practising assessment for a refresher STMS for Cat C roads (multi-lane roads - 70km/h or more roads).

Fee for assessment $1,050 plus $700 for hire of TTM vehicle, labour and equipment - total of $1,750.00. Participants have to complete 7 tasks (verified sites and assessment) in 1 day.

Fee for assessment $750 plus $600 for hire of TTM vehicle and equipment - total of $1,350.00. As part of the practising assessment process for a new STMS, they have to install, maintain and remove 2 sites which a TTM Mentor verifies as having been completed to standard. This assessment is for the 2 verified sites for Cat A roads.

Fee for assessment $750 plus $700 for hire of TTM vehicle, crew and equipment - total $1,450.00. This is the practising assessment which allows a new STMS to take charge of installing, maintaining and removing TTM at worksites on Cat A roads (urban environments 60km/h or less).

This coaching session will prepare the refreshing STMS for their Practising assessment (either Cat A, Cat B or both). Note: This coaching is optional and only needs to be completed once.

Fee for assessment $750 plus $700 for hire of TTM vehicle and equipment - total of $1,450.00. This is the STMS practising assessment for a refresher STMS for Cat A roads (urban environments 60km/h or less).

Fee for assessment $750 plus $1,000 for hire of TTM vehicles and equipment - total of $1,750.00. As part of the practising assessment process for a new STMS, they have to install, maintain and remove 2 sites which a TTM Mentor verifies as having been completed to standard. This assessment is for the 2 verified sites for Cat B roads.

This is the practising assessment which allows an STMS to take charge of installing, maintaining and removing TTM at worksites on Cat B roads (rural roads, one lane each way, 70km/h or more).

This workshop provides base knowledge for working on category C roads (multi-lane roads 70km/h or more).
