This workshop provides base knowledge for working on category B roads (rural roads, one lane each way, 70km/h or more). It is normally completed sometime after a Cat A NP workshop has been completed.

Fee for assessment $750 plus $600 for hire of TTM vehicle and equipment - total of $1,350.00. As part of the practising assessment process for a new STMS, they have to install, maintain and remove 2 sites which a TTM Mentor verifies as having been completed to standard. This assessment is for the 2 verified sites for Cat A roads.

Fee for assessment $750 plus unit standard reporting of $130, plus $700 for hire of TTM vehicle, crew and equipment - total $1580.00. This is the practising assessment which allows an STMS to take charge of installing, maintaining and removing TTM at worksites on Cat A roads (urban environments 60km/h or less).

Training Aspirations has developed this Proof of Non Practising STMS Current Knowledge. This event is designed for those who are STMS AB Non Practising. This is a knowledge load up covering the new credentials framework, NZGTTM and Risk assessment.

Training Aspirations has developed a Proof of STMS Current Competence which includes an individual assessment of competence. This event includes a 1.5 hour session (knowledge load up covering the new credentials framework, NZGTTM and Risk assessment) and an in the field assessment including setting up, maintaining and removing TTM for a common site (e.g stop/go or lane diversion).

Training Aspirations has developed an additional exercise for STMS Non Practising who want to extend their knowledge and gain a better insight into the latest safe techniques when installing, maintaining and removing TTM at a worksite. This is completed after the person has completed the Proof of Non Practising STMS Current Knowledge

This is the starting point for people joining the TTM industry. It includes a briefing, practice in a protected area and assessment on a live roading network.

This workshop covers all of the knowledge needed for the TMO to be able to install, maintain and remove TTM out of the lane, mind TTM in the lane and complete inspection activities.
